Now at the height of wildfire season (March to June), Arizona is battling several brush, grass and forest fires, including the Gladiator and Sunflower Fires, which continue to threaten communities in Yavapai County, north and west of Phoenix, and to the east in Tonto National Forest.

Outdoor Fires Prohibited In The City of Madison, Wisconsin

The City of Madison Fire Department is prohibiting the use of outdoor fires until weather conditions change. Approved outdoor fireplaces and fire pits shall not be used. Prairie and/or natural lawn burns, even those with a permit from the City of Madison Fire Department, shall not be conducted.
Hazard Reduction Pile Burning Scheduled on Estelle Mountain Reserve

California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) in cooperation with Riverside County Habitat Conservation Agency (RCHCA) and Bureau of Land Management (BLM) will be conducting hazard reduction pile burning south of the intersection of Cajalco and La Sierra in Riverside County on the Estelle Mountain Reserve (Thomas Bros 774-G5).
