Two Moreno Valley Fires Tied to Juvenile Arson
On September 4, 2011, CAL FIRE Investigators detained two juveniles for allegedly setting two separate vegetation fires in Moreno Valley on the same day. The two are believed to have started a vegetation fire that burned one quarter of an acre on Moreno Beach Dr. and Cottonwood Ave. and a second vegetation fire on Dracaea Ave. and Nason St. which burned two acres. CAL FIRE Investigators intend to file arson charges (PC 451) against the duo with the Riverside County District Attorney's Office. The juveniles have been released to their parents.
