Abilene Juvenile Taken into Custody for Arson Fire
A juvenile has been taken into custody by Abilene Police Officers in connection with an arson fire. Units of the Abilene Fire Department responded to the call of a structure fire in the 1900 block of Fannin Street around 9:45 PM on Saturday, March 26th, 2011. Firefighters extinguished the fire involving lawn grass and an exterior wall of a home at this location while police officers interviewed witnesses. They were able to apprehend the juvenile witnesses reported as starting this fire, as well as a grass fire set earlier in the day at a neighboring property.
