Carmichael Arsonist Sets Twelve Fires in Four Hours

Sacramento, California

Sacramento Metro Firefighters responded to twelve fires at seven locations this morning between 12:47 and 4:12. The fires are deemed to be set by an arsonist, and were all located within a small geographical area within Carmichael, California, according to a Sacramento Metro Fire Department news release.

The fires were set in brush areas, a school, an automobile and on a fence. No injuries are reported.

Sacramento Metro Fire Department's Arson Unit is asking the community to come forward with any information they may have about these arson fires. Anyone with information can annonymously call the "Arson Tip Line" at (916) 859-3775.
