Chino Green Waste Fire Continues to Burn
A fire that began around 6:00 p.m. Sunday is expected to continue through today. Firefighters with the Chino Valley Independent Fire District continue to fight the fire burning at a green waste recycling center near Hellman Avenue and Chino Corona Road in Chino, California. So far, the fire has burned five acres with no structures threatened or injuries reported. Heavy equipment has been brought in to fight the fire that is burning in piles of compost.
