The Chula Vista Fire Department responded to a vegetation fire off of Trousdale Drive in Chula Vista, California yesterday afternoon. After initial dispatch, Chula Vista's Incident Commander ordered additional resources to ensure a quick and safe extinguishment, according to a news release from the fire department. The brush fire was brought under control within thirty minutes, and no injuries or damage resulted from the fire. The Chula Vista Fire Department reminds residents that wildfire season is here, and that property owners need to make sure that their landscaping is "lean, clean and green".
