Clark County Fire District 6 responded to a 3 vehicle crash at Highway 99 and NE 63rd Street at 4:30pm on November 5, 2011.

A full-size white pick-up truck was heading south on Highway 99 when it rear- ended a stopped car waiting to turn left (driver of this car was not injured).

The truck continued southbound, crossed the center line on Highway 99, near 63rd Street, and crashed head on into a northbound Mitsubishi Eclipse that was carrying 2 adults and 2 children.

The 2 adults (one male, one 27-year-old female) and 2 children (both boys) were transported by ambulance to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center with serious injuries.

The driver of the white pick-up, an adult male, was transported to Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center with minor injuries.

According to the Clark County Sheriff's Office, the driver of the white pick-up is being charged with vehicular ASSAULT, as alcohol may be a factor in the crash. American Medical Response responded with 4 ambulances (children were transported in the same ambulance).

Clark County Fire District 6 responded with an engine and a rescue vehicle. Vancouver Fire Department also responded with an engine. The Clark County Sheriff's Office assisted with traffic control and investigation.
