Arsonist Sought in Molotov Cocktail Case

El Paso Fire Department responded to a report of a previous fire in a business, Ogunochun Boutique, on the 7000 block of Alameda in East Central El Paso, late yesterday morning at approximately 1147 hours . The business occupant discovered the front glass door had been broken and a Molotov type device was found inside the business where a fire had extinguished itself. The fire occurred some time during the over night hours. The business suffered some fire damage just inside the boutique; damages were estimated at $5,000.

Investigators with the fire marshals office responded to the scene and conducted an investigation. Upon investigation it was ruled arson and the investigation continues. Fire investigators are asking the public if they know or hear any information about this arson to call the Fire Marshal's Office at (915) 771-1090 or El Paso Crimestoppers at (915) 566-TIPS (8477)
