Embers from Hobe Sound Brush Fire Continue to Burn
Smoke from 300 acre brush fire in Hobe Sound is everywhere as it continues to smolder even though flames are out. Fire Crews have established a 100% perimeter containment area around land and have also plowed down all vegetation. Firefighters will continue to be coming in throughout the day to put the small patches of fire that are still remaining out. The Division of Forestry and Martin County Fire Rescue are providing much assistance with the total extinguishment of this brush fire. For more information, view the video below.
