FDNY Firefighters Battle Six Alarm Fire in the Bronx
Over 250 FDNY Firefighters responded to a six alarm commercial fire in the Bronx early this morning. The fire began in a record store at 4225 White Plains Road, and quickly spread to six other businesses. According to the FDNY, firefighters battled the fire for approximately six hours, bringing it under control around 6 a.m. Crews stayed on-scene through the morning to prevent hot-spots from flaring up. Twelve firefighters were injured, although none of the injuries were life-threatening. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Watch this FOX New York video for more details.
