FEMA Awards City of Marietta Grant for Breathing Apparatus
The Federal Emergency Management Agency has awarded the city of Marietta a grant to buy equipment that will help firefighters breathe better when battling a fire. The $285,000 grant will be used to buy 68 new breathing apparatus that will help the department better protect the public and firefighters from fire and other related hazards, and help firefighters breathe better during a fire when oxygen is low.
