Announcement of $65,000 Gift To San Diego Fire Rescue Foundation
The San Diego Fire Rescue Foundation will receive a generous gift of $65,000 from a local individual tomorrow. The majority of the donation, $55,000, will be used to purchase Thermal Imaging Cameras for the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department. Without this donation, the Department would not have the funds for this needed equipment. Life-saving defibrillators for schools will be purchased with the remaining $10,000. The donor will be present for the announcement, along with local firefighters and representatives from the Foundation and the Department.
