Henry County, Georgia to Host September 11th Ceremony
For their third consecutive year, the Henry County Fire Department Honor Guard will lead in the honors and present colors at the ceremony to commemorate the ninth anniversary of the September 11, 2001 tragedy, Sabrina Puckett, a spokeswoman for the department said in a news release.

The ceremony will be held at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center in Forsyth, Georgia at 1 p.m. on September 11th. Distinguished guests scheduled to speak include Battalion Chief David Rhodes of the Atlanta Fire Department and Janet McGuire from the American Red Cross. They will honor, "those who paid the ultimate sacrifice in New York's World Trade Center Building, at The Pentagon and in Western Pennsylvania on that tragic day in 2001," said Puckett.

The HAMMER (Hazardous Material Management and Emergency Response) Training and Education Center in Richland, Washington is well known for training emergency responders in new technologies.
