Juvenile Sets Fire at Fairfax County Park Authority Facility
Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department fire investigators charged a male juvenile with setting a fire at a Fairfax County Park Authority facility, Thursday, December 15, 2011, in the Centreville area of Fairfax County, Virginia. The fire occurred December 13, at Braddock Park, 13451 Braddock Road. The fire started in a men's restroom inside the park. The fire was primarily contained to the trash receptacle; however, there was residual damage to the structure. The 17 year-old was charged with one count of Fire Code 18.2-80 (burning or destroying a building or structure), a class 4 felony. Damage is estimated at $5,000.
