Conrad Mansfield

Firefighter Conrad Mansfield, a 25 year volunteer with the Delaware Township Volunteer Fire Department, collapsed while participating in pump training on June 10, 2009.  Mansfield was transported to the local hospital and then airlifted to a hospital in Toledo, where he was placed on life support.  Firefighter Mansfield succumbed to his injury on June 14, 2009.  Preliminary results indicate the nature of the fatal injury was a stroke, but a final determination is pending further investigation.
