Liberty Mutual Offering Fire Safety Grants
Liberty Mutual is working to make communities safer by offering fire departments across the country a chance to win one of ten $10,000 grants through their Fire Safety Pledge Program. The grants can be used to raise fire safety awareness in cities and towns across the United States. The grants are available to any fire department in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Grants will be awarded in divisions based on community population as follows: Small: 10,000 residents or less - 2 grants Medium: 10,001 to 100,.000 residents - 6 grants Large: 100,000 + residents - 2 grants For each Fire Safety Pledge Quiz completed by community members, a point is credited to their local fire department. The department with the most points in their division will earn a grant. A minimum of 1 percent participation in the communities is required for the grant to be awarded in each division. To participate:
