Portland Fire's Arson Dog Lila Gets Her Own Website
Lila, Portland Fire's arson dog, and her handler Lieutenant Jackson are one of only 80 Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (AFT) arson canine response teams in the nation. In December 2010, Lila got her own website. At http://www.portlandonline.com/fire/arsondog, you'll find lots of interesting information about this guide dog turned arson canine. Find out more about Lila's training, her handler, arson cases she has helped investigate, and how she is using her keen sense of smell to keep Portland's citizens safe.
