Burn Scheduled for San Diego's East County
If you see smoke in the eastern portions of San Diego County on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 9th and 10th, don't run to dial 911. As part of their ongoing Vegetation Management Plan, the CAL FIRE San Diego Unit will be burning brush piles on the Corte Madera Ranch south of Pine Valley, California, according to Nick Schuler, a spokesman for the department. Weather permitting, the burn will start around 10:00 a.m. and will finish around 2:00 p.m. both days. Author:Barbara Brooks - FDNNTV.com
