Search Dogs Requested to Help Find Missing Shreveport Man

The Shreveport Fire Department K-9 Search and Rescue Team were requested on December 28, 2011 by the Harrison County Sheriff's Office to assist in the search of a 19 year old male who has been missing the previous night. The request was received at 10:30 AM and three K-9 Live Search Dogs and five K-9 handlers from SFD arrived on scene in an area northwest of Scottsville, TX at 11:20 AM.

The 19 year old was seen last night leaving on his motorcycle and never returned. The motorcycle was later found by Sheriff's deputies; however, the missing man could not be found. SFD Search and Rescue Teams will be assisting the Harrison County Sheriff's Office with the search until the man is found or until daylight hours end.
