Tulsa Fire Department to Give Toys to Children in Distress
Senior Star Living, a Tulsa based real estate services company specializing in the senior housing industry, is donating 100 stuffed animals to the Tulsa Fire Department for distribution at incidents where children are involved. The animals will be stuffed during a team building exercise that will take place at Senior Star's annual meeting for management employees to be held on Tuesday January 31, 2012 at the Renaissance Hotel, 6808 South 107th East Avenue, Tulsa, OK. "We've designed an activity for our employees that will encourage creative thinking and enhance problem solving skills, and we are so pleased that the end products will be used in such a meaningful way," said Senior Star senior vice president Anja Rogers. "The Tulsa Fire Department has been a pleasure to work with on this project and we hope this will bring some moments of joy to the hard working fire fighters who help Tulsa area families facing difficult situations." "Keeping stuffed animals on select fire apparatuses will allow us to bring some comfort to children facing situations they find frightening," said Tulsa Fire Department Public Information Officer Stan May. "It's a great program we are pleased to incorporate into our service to the community."
