Tulsa Fire Department Investigators Make 2 Meth Lab Related Arrests
Tulsa Fire Department Investigators made two more “meth lab” related arrests on November 12, 2011. Jeffry McBride and Charles Timothy Spencer were arrested at 1040 N College Ave about 9:00 pm last night. Both men were arrested and charged with Endeavoring to Manufacture a Controlled Dangerous Substance. Jeff McBride had 3 outstanding felony warrants, 5 misdemeanor warrants and investigators have been looking for him for several weeks. While in custody, McBride admitted to making meth at the 1409 W Admiral Blvd address as late as the day before a fatality fire there claimed the life of a 15 month old boy. Charles Spencer has not been connected to the fatality fire, but a large amount of ingredients needed to manufacture meth-amphetamine were found at the1040 N College Ave address, which led to the address of both men. No other information is being released by the Fire Marshals Office at this time as the investigation is ongoing. Officials continue to stress the importance of the residents in reporting suspicious activity in their neighborhoods. Leads from citizens have been crucial to the investigations which have lead to several arrests over the past few weeks.
