Residents Flee Massive Charlotte Apartment Fire

On December 14, 2010 at 10:26 AM (14) Companies of Charlotte Firefighters, (1) Heavy Rescue Company, (4) Battalion Chiefs, (1) Deputy Chief, (1) Emergency Management Coordinator, (3) Fire Investigators, and (2) Fire Inspectors responded to a greater alarm fire at 6304 Reafield Drive in south Charlotte. Firefighters arrived quickly to find heavy smoke and fire engulfing a large three-story occupied apartment building comprised of 10 units, eight of which were occupied.

Glendale Firefighters Extinguish House Fire

Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at 6:26 a.m., five companies of Glendale firefighters, one Rescue Ambulance and one Arson Investigator under the direction of Battalion Chief Tom Propst responded to a reported house fire at 2588 E. Chevy Chase Drive in the city of Glendale.
