Members of the Las Vegas Fire & Rescue (LVFR) Bomb Squad responded to the intersection of Sahara Avenue and Decatur Boulevard this morning after Metro Police found a suspicious device in a pickup truck during a traffic stop. Using robots, they detonated the device, which was found to be a credible threat.
Las Vegas Firefighters Respond to Honey Bee Call

Thousand of Honey Bees left a parked tractor trailer truck that parked on the side of the road in the northwest part of the city late Wednesday afternoon. A number of people, including firefighters were stung during the ordeal.

Sacramento Firefighters Battle Recycling Plant Fire

A 3-alarm fire kept firefighters in Sacramento, California busy Friday. At 5:12 p.m. crews were dispatched to Recycling Industries in the 3300 block of Power Inn Road where a storage yard full of recycled paper and cardboard was burning.

Sawyer, Director of the Combating Terrorism Center at the United States Military Academy at West Point (USMA), will officiate the graduation ceremony for 33 FDNY members from the West Point Counterterrorism Leadership Program on Monday, June 7 at 11 a.m. at FDNY Headquarters.
