Sports Utility Vehicle Crash Calls for Abilene Police & Fire Units Assistance

At 10 AM on May 18th, 2012, Abilene police and fire units were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident involving a sports utility vehicle in the creek near mile marker 286C on Interstate 20.
Maricopa Fire Crews Respond to Collision Involving Van, Passenger Truck & School Bus

At noon on May 18th, 2012, Maricopa Fire Department crews responded to a call for a motor vehicle collision involving a school bus on Edison Rd. just east of John Wayne Pkwy. Upon arrival crews found a three vehicle collision involving a passenger van, passenger truck, and school bus.

Units responded to a report of a traffic collision on May 15, 2012. Upon arrival of first in unit, it was determined that the front passenger was trapped and would need to be extricated from the vehicle.
Tragic Accident Prompts National Warning on Electric Safety

A 6-year-old Alabama child received severe burns after coming into contact with a transformer in a public sports complex late last month. With the end of the school year rapidly approaching leaving children with more time to play outdoors and summer recreational activities in full swing, the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and the Electrical Safety Foundation International (ESFI) are joining forces to warn the public about outdoor electrical dangers that can pose as safety threats to children.
