The Memphis Fire Department responded to a second alarm fire at 3519 S. Mendenhall Road, Saturday, July 16, 2011 at 3:25 a.m. Upon arrival on the scene at 3:31 a.m., firefighters reported fire visible from the two story wood-frame apartments. Rescue and Firefighting operations began immediately.
