CMJ Underwriters and the Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company have partnered to award a $17,860 grant to the FDNY on Friday, June 3, 11 a.m. at the quarters of Engine 58/Ladder 26 in Manhattan for the purchase of a forcible entry simulator, exercise equipment and tools to enhance the training of its members.

U.S. Senators Barbara A. Mikulski and Ben Cardin (both D-Md.) along with Congressman Steny H. Hoyer (MD-5), Congressman Chris Van Hollen (MD-8), and Congresswoman Donna F. Edwards (MD-4), announced this week that the Prince George’s County Fire/EMS Department will receive a $1.267 million grant through the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) Program.
