Supervisors in a Pennsylvania township will vote on a ordinance to do away with their own fire department and are threatening to fine or jail any members of the department who respond to emergencies within the township, according to the Patriot-News.

Forest Service Fire crews are planning to burn approximately 600 acres as part of the Bonita Vista project near Lake Hemet as early as January 11.
