Hearse Transporting Dead Body Catches Fire After Hit and Run Accident

A hearse delivering a body for a funeral service at Rollings Hills Memorial Park in El Sobrante, California was involved in an accident, left the scene, consequently caught fire and burned, according to the Contra Costa County Times.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department commends the actions of three individuals who assisted firefighters with the rescue of a victim of a motor vehicle accident in which a car swerved off the road and went down an embankment. The three young men will be honored in a fire department ceremony tomorrow.
