On May 1, 2012 at the Washington State Drowning Prevention Network meeting at Seattle Childrens Hospital, West Pierce Fire & Rescue was awarded the 2012 Tom Warren Innovation Award for the Lake Addressing Program.

Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue is hosting the National Guard at its Training Center located at 12400 SW Tonquin Road in Sherwood. The National Guard is conducting a statewide exercise to test its response to a large-scale disaster and the ability for local, regional and national responders to integrate.

Tulsa Fire Responds to Two Separate Fires, Two Hospitalized & Four Displaced

The Tulsa Fire Department responded to a house fire in the 200 Block of Timberlane Road. When units arrived they were met with heavy smoke and fire in the rear of the house. Firefighters extinguished the blaze within ten minutes and determined that all occupants were out of the house.
