Two years after the deaths of five U.S. Forest Service firefighters, the case against the man accused of setting the fatal Esperanza Wildfire went to trial. Raymond Lee Oyler, 38 of Beaumont, California, has been charged with arson and murder in the October 2006 wildfire, which took the lives of five firefighters and ultimately torched 43,000 acres in the Cabazon, California area.
