emsCharts Teams With RSQ911 Solutions for Emergency Incident Feedback Surveys
emsCharts, Inc. announces a collaborative partnership that connects their web-based patient data collection and incident reporting software to RSQ911 Solutions'online survey tool. The streamlined functionality allows EMS agencies to easily connect a particular patient event to survey feedback from hospital personnel and other EMS on the scene, as well feedback from patients and their families. RSQ911 Solutions provides a customized web-based survey that is distributed by an EMS agency to everybody involved in the transport and care of a patient. When the emergency incident is over and transport is complete, hospital and EMS personnel engaged on the emergency call can login and provide feedback on the quality of service provided by that EMS agency. Patients and their families are also encouraged to complete a survey. The result is a collection of industry insights and public perceptions that the EMS agency can use to evaluate the quality of service that they are providing to the community. emsCharts, Inc. provides EMS agencies with electronic patient data collection solutions that use the Internet to connect EMS responders with hospitals and reporting agencies; thus expediting the entire process and leaving more time to focus on patients' needs. The collaboration between emsCharts, Inc. and RSQ911 Solutions, LLC links patient incident data entered into the emsCharts system with mission data in the RSQ911 survey website. EMS crews no longer need to log into two separate sites to enter information for a single incident. "Emergency medical data collection is coming full-circle with our collaboration with RSQ911," comments Pete Goutmann, Vice President of emsCharts, Inc. "We provide our customers with a variety of methods within our software to qualitatively measure their agency's performance." Goutmann continues, "Quality assurance is often an internally run process. With the RSQ911 data, agencies can now add an entirely new dimension of feedback for their agency." "The premise behind RSQ911 Solutions is to promote communication and help build relationships within the transport environment in order to provide better value to the patient. emsCharts understands the importance of relationships building and value-added services, and they have proved that with this collaboration", states Bill Gerard MD, CEO of RSQ911 Solutions. "They have been patient-centric from our first conversation", he adds. The collaborative functionality between emsCharts, Inc. and RSQ911 Solutions requires subscriptions to both services. The data link is available now and is currently being used by several EMS agencies.
