TAK-Response California Conference and ExhibitionTAK-Response California Conference and Exhibition Please attend the inaugural TAK-Response Conference and Exhibition September 14 – 16, 2010 at the San Jose Convention Center in San Jose, CA. Highlighting the theme, "When Seconds Count…," this event will provide real-time, threat-based training for law enforcement, fire service, EMS/Medical, Emergency Nursing, Homeland Security and other disaster communities. Responders attending TAK-Response can expect the training and information exchange necessary to perform their jobs in the most critical situations. Why Attend Within this post-9/11 era, the first response landscape has changed as we know it. The need for inter-agency cooperation and multi-disciplinary processes as means to mitigate 21st century threats have placed the various public safety disciplines on the fast track to convergence. TAK-Response Conference and Exhibition will answer the call and unite first responders within EMS, Fire, Law Enforcement, Disaster, Homeland Security, Emergency Nursing and Public Health to train for the most critical situations. Conference Program & Educational Credit TAK-Response 2010 is an "all hazards" educational event, scripted to provide responders & mitigators with the necessary tools to navigate the post 9-11 landscape. We are pleased to provide the following educational tracks within our programs events: Firefighting, EMS, Emergency Nursing, Disaster, Tactical Law Enforcement, as well as Homeland Security. TAK-Response is approved for the delivery of up-to 16-hours continuing education within the following classifications: POST, EMS & BRN (including the pre-conferences). TAK-Response 2010 qualifies for reimbursement from State Homeland Security Grant Program (SHSGP),Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI), and Metropolitan Medical Response System (MMRS) grant funds. Additionally, Law Enforcement Terrorism Prevention (LETPP) funds can be utilized by law enforcement personnel to attend.
