Two Alarm Houston Fire Ruled Accidental
A two-alarm fire in Houston, TX has been ruled an accident by Houston Fire Department Arson Investigators. The blaze, which caused an estimated $100,000 in damage, was caused by a welder who was welding a metal plate. According to HFD, the plate was close to the exterior wood siding which was ignited by the welder's torch. More than 100 firefighters responded to the fire at 5800 Hollister which started about 1 p.m. Crews were able to extinguish the blaze within 40 minutes. Author:Barbara Brooks for FDNNTV.com
